Vtg Real Fur Muskrat 4 Pelts Head to Tail Collar Shoulder 2024 Wrap Shawl Tippet Stole Scarf Brown Mahogany Shades Glass Eyes Celluloid Links

Vintage real fur muskrat stole/ shoulder wrap/ collar made from 4 full body pelts stitched together. Each pelt has a "head" with glass eyes and a little leather nose. There are also feet and tails that hang from each pelt. The stole has two celluloid chains with woven balls for closure. Crocheted clip under the first head and links to keep them together. There is no lining and is simply the pelt all the way around. Stole has a 2024 rich blend of brown, reddish-brown, and mahogany shades throughout. There is no maker's mark or label noted. Circa 1940's.

Going from the end of the tail on last pelt to nose of first pelt, this piece is 52" long and 6” Wide (in the middle with 2 pelts).

Individual length: 2 pelts are 23” long, one pelt is 24” and one is 26” long.

In great vintage used condition. The fur is shiny and supple with no tears, loss hair in the pelts. A little wear to the crocheted clip.
Vintage fur is eco- and animal friendly alternative to new fur. It's a wonderful way to recycle the past!
