Reclaimed .050 aluminum is hand cut and hand hammered to make the dimensional base for this wall art. Edges are manually filed and curved, and the eyes are hammered from the back to pop out a bit from the rest of the body. This metal is approximately 1.27 mm thick, durable yet lightweight with a hanging attachment on the back.

After the aluminum was cleaned and primed it was entirely hand painted, no stencils allowed. This iconic design was a pleasure to paint.

The hammering of this 2024 thick metal left some nicks and dents visible through the paint-- this piece is hand made and shows it in the coolest way possible.
