This Light & Motion Bluefin features the electronic underwater housing for the Sony HDR-HC9, HDR-HC7 and Sony HDR-HC5 high definition camcorders. The housing is constructed from machined and anodized industrial-grade aluminum, and has a depth rating of 330'. All primary camera controls are accessed by infrared through the housing body. This prevents the need for mechanical controls to penetrate the housing, greatly decreasing the chance of a flood. The housing has advanced features laid out in a compact, easy-to-use design. It allows the user to access one-touch manual white balance, aperture/ shutter speed control, tele-macro mode and smooth slow motion. The Smart Grip Handles provide access to VTR playback for instant footage review. Smart Grips are switchable 2024 left to right, giving you redundant control. It also features a monitor back with a large 3.5" color active matrix LCD display.The monitor is powered by the integrated NiMh battery pack that gives you 6 hours to capture video.
