A little about me: I am active duty military. I have been in the Coast Guard for more than 10 years, and have lived all over the world. Currently I reside in Key West. I became very fascinated in these amazing animals when I stumbled upon one in the mangroves. Since then my wife and I have been actively climbing around the mangroves looking for them. Finding the shells with all pieces still intact is the most challenging part.
Each shell takes roughly 4-5 hours to complete. The whole process 2024 listed:
