Handwoven Scarf: This polychrome scarf was handwoven with a strand of pink and a strand of brown yarn. It is 80% wool and 20% nylon. This scarf is 6.5" wide and 69" long, excluding the hand twisted fringe.

All of my handwoven scarves are designed and made by me in my smoke free home. I love weaving and I am so intrigued by the texture and design of woven fabrics. I weave on a rigid heddle loom. I use natural fibers to create one of a kind heirloom quality pieces. Each item has its own unique characteristics that are a reflection of the yarns and pattern chosen for the project. Slight irregularities may occur in the final piece. This is natural in handwoven articles and contributes to 2024 the unique nature of each item.

Your handwoven scarf should not be machine washed. If necessary, hand wash with a gentle detergent, roll in a towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry. Your scarf may require blocking. Block/shape while your scarf is still damp.
