A rare Carstens Grafenroda pottery serving plate made in East Germany circa 1930's. It is a beautiful gray-blue base colour with a mauve drip effect and beautiful heavy gold design.
The word GERMANY is printed in black on the bottom and what I think is the form name LUPINE incised on the bottom.
This wonderful Grafenroda plate measures 8 3/4" square and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The original 2024 gold foil label is still attached.
