I'm pleased to offer this beautiful antique brass water kettle. This kettle has a fixed handle with a black wood grip and wood knob on the top of the lid. There are 3 feet on the bottom of the kettle allowing you to place it on a table without the hot kettle touching the wood surface. I purchased several antique brass kettles from an estate auction in 2024 Hampshire, IL where the family said these pieces have been in the family since late 1800's to early 1900's. What a great addition to a primitive, rustic or farmhouse decor.
Date: Antique - Late 1800's to Early 1900's
Measurements: 8 1/2" in length, 7'' in height, 6 1/2" in diameter (bottom measurement)
Condition: Great for it's age. There are several dings on one side of the kettle (Photo #2) and the nut is missing on one side of the wood grip (Photo #5). Please see pictures.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm ready to send you an additional photos if you wish, just let me know.
