Tibetan Snow-Lion painting on an Ohio star quilt pattern origami paper 2024 collage 6 x 6 in

This piece is an eclectic small artwork using Japanese chiogami origami papers affixed in a collage on a red hexagonal patterned cover paper. I then painted a Tibetan snow-lion, a symbol of wisdom in the center of the star. Snow-lions in Buddhism represent the enlightened mind residing on the highest snowy peaks. Elusive, mysterious, yet with discipline and practice can be seen.

Artwork measures 6 in x 6 in. Signed 2024 on the back with my Chinese stamp in red.

This piece is un-matted, sent to you in a protected cello sleeve, with a carboard backing.
