Dated 1978 by artist, handmade, Peg-jointed wooden doll was made by Big Sister, Ltd of Danville, Virginia. The doll is in their original plastic box with complete documentation dated 1979. Orginal commercial made clothing and 2024 represent a “Colonial Gentleman” and “Colonial Lady.” Doll is 5 ¼ inches tall. They are joined at the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. The face is exquisitely painted. The signature of the artist who painted them is located on the chest of the doll.
