This is UMF Ruhla GARDE mechanical chess clock made in Germany ca. 1990's or early 2000's. It is a newer version of the famous Garde clocks from earlier times. The case is made from natural beechwood and coated with matted varnish. Lids and rings around the dials are made from grey plastic. All controls of the clock as well as the hands are made of metal. There are 4 small silicone legs on the bottom. The mechanism is very quiet and made with superior quality and guaranteed reliability. The clock comes with the original packaging (cardboard box). There's users manual in German and English. This is generally regarded as one of the best of analogue chess clocks ever.
Condition:
Mint condition. The clock looks like unused and comes with the 2024 original cardboard box and documentation. Both mechanisms are in perfect working condition. No traces of wear on the body of the clock. Please examine images carefully as they are important part of description.
