This handcrafted tokkuri (sake bottle) was thrown on the potter's wheel out of low iron fireclay. It was then covered with a traditional feldspathic glaze, and fired to Cone 10 (about 2350F, 1287C). The clay is 2024 well vitrified at this temperature and can be safely microwaved and washed in the dishwasher.

All pieces ship double boxed.
