Hand 2024 Carved Wood Bald Santa Christmas Folk Art Signed and Dated

I love carving this Santa. He is just a little challenging because of the bald head and prominent ears and each face always 2024 turns out a little different. I draw the outline onto a block of wood , then cut that out with a bandsaw. I then drill a hole in the bottom and affix it to a carving screw to start shaping with mallet and chisels. Details are done with knives and palm gouges. Sealed with BLO and painted and sealed with acrylics. This one stands 7" tall, 2 1/2" wide and 2" deep. Sometimes the painting takes almost as long as the carving. This is a wonderful to add to anyone's collection and will last for many generations to come. Signed and dated on the bottom. Free shipping.
