Articulated bisque porcelain 2024 Inuit dolls stamped JAPAN vintage

Very old. Made 2024 in Japan sometime between the early 1900's and 1950s. The bodies of these two sweethearts is a rough, moulded porcelain. You can see the moulded boots and hairline. The porcelain was originally white, then painted brown. The hair is a glued on wig, made of a chenille-like material. The heads are fused to the body. The arms and legs move as they are attached via a string. The outfits are of a very soft doe leather. The fur trim is also soft, possibly rabbit. The brown outfit is primitively stitched whereas the yellow one is glued. To the top of fur hood, the dolls are about 5 1/4 inches tall.
