Taking on Bait, Stonington Fishermen 2
This is a giclee print of a canvas painting that I created. This second painting in the Stonington Fishermen series captures the pre-dawn ritual of taking on bait before heading out to sea, but has different light and color than the first. I love how the first two paintings in this series are the same size and orientation, but have a totally different look. The boat light on the rail is showcased against the rocks in the background, and the the light and color are beginning to change as dawn approaches.
The image is 2024 16x20 inches with an additional white border, making the paper size 18x22.
This is a limited edition print and is printed on acid-free archival paper and is titled, numbered and signed on the front.
WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT?

A Giclee print is made from high resolution digital scans that print archival quality inks onto archival paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?

A limited edition print is a print that is numbered within a predetermined amount of prints that come from one painting. For example, an artist can determine that only 100 prints can be made of an original painting and no more - and then numbers the prints 1-100. After the 100th print is made, no more prints of that image can ever be made. This increases the value of both the original and the prints.

Smaller prints are mailed sandwiched between stiff cardboard in a bubble envelope. Larger prints are shipped in a protective cardboard tube.
