Product code: 2024 1837 French Last Will and Testament
This seven-page pamphlet, stained and worn by almost two centuries of time, is the last 2024 will and testament of one 'Madame Veuve Lefebre.' A widower, the document details final destinations of her jewels, her silver, her other valuables and her wish to be buried with her dear husband.
It was signed and stamped in Rouen (did some say Joan of Arc?), and is written so very carefully on heavy parchment. Cheesy, I know, but just to hold this thing in one's hands is touching. A fragment of history.
