The Djellaba is a Moroccan jacket/ coat product, It belongs to the family of Rif mountain's Djellaba north of Morocco, used by the Royal Moroccan army, characterized by its weight because it is made to protect the soldiers of the region against the cold during the winter.



Almost all Djellabas include a baggy hood called QOB (Arabic: قب) that comes to a point at the back.
The hood is of vital importance because it protects the user from the sun, and in ancient times was used as a defense against the sand being blown into the face of the user by strong desert winds.



In colder climates, such as in the mountains of Morocco, it also serves the same function as a winter hat, preventing heat loss through the head and protecting the face from snow and rain. the hood and also used as an informal pocket during good weather; he can fit loaves of bread or groceries.
