There are two knobs for tuning. The on/off knob clicks on and the unit powers up. I'm not sure if the tuning knobs are original. I got hum and noise from speaker but couldn't tune in a station but the tuning knob does move the dial and looks for stations. The capacitors on these old radios go bad and have to be replaced to work properly. There also could be a problem with the antenna but I'm not sure. The case has some minor scratches, discolorations, and wear to the finish as you can see but no cracks. (SEE PICTURES). This is an item for ”PARTS OR POSSIBLE REPAIR”. See my store for other vintage radios and interesting vintage items. The wire was very badly cracked. I had to cut it off and attach a good wire to test the radio so the wire needs to be replaced.
