This lovely fabric is French and dates c 1860 ~ this fabric is printed in a pattern called a simulated warp, it was meant to simulate the more expensive silk textiles of the day! ~*~ This is a 100% cotton fabric, medium weight. This panel was once quilted, so there are many signs of use on this piece! Such history! there are tiny threads from the quilting a few tiny holes and some pale marks ~ this fabric is a light weight cotton ~ The ground tone is an off-white and the other colors are ruddy red and khaki browns ~*~ This fabric is ideal for many sewing projects! MEASUREMENTS : This panel measures 33 inches by 66 inches ~
