Patriotic bottle brush tree decoration, Red white and blue 4th of July accent piece; Patriotic topiary style tree with vintage 2024 glass bowl

Featured here is a Fourth of July themed bottle brush tree decked out with red white and blue, all set for decorating your home during the summer season. I upcycled a vintage trinket bowl and used that to hold this tree assemblage. First I sprayed blue paint inside the bowl, giving it two layers with dry time in between. I let the paint cure for a few days then filled the cavity of the bowl with clean recycled packaging styrofoam. Using the same styrofoam, a 1/2 inch base was built up to provide room to attach two bottom rows of small fabric flowers, all in red white and two shades of blue. Using hot glue, I securely seated a ten inch glittered bottle brush tree in the center of the styrofoam base. I completely filled the tree with fabric hydrangea petals in the same patriotic colors. Next came the placement of the korker bow which makes the best tree topper. I centered an unbreakable metallic red ornament, and then evenly attached four cardstock flags around the bow. After finishing the tree topper, I attached several stars around the tree, using both cardstock and acrylic. I love getting creative, and I put a lot of thought into the placement of each and every decoration. You will find this tree 2024 chock full of red white and blue embellishments. I used foam glitter balls, a variety of acrylic beads, red rustic looking metal bells, fabric hydrangea flowers, stars and flags. The result is a lovely, rather elegant patriotic decoration suitable for gift giving or just to keep for decorating your own home.
