This is an original oil painting completed on a double primed cotton canvas. The painting has been varnished to lock in the colors 2024 and protect it and signed and titled on the back to authenticate.
I wanted to exaggerate the texture on this composition a bit. I wanted the elements to fit together properly, yet have a bit of unbalance in where each element met. Rugged Earth is a perfect name for this piece.
