Massive tourist souvenir pharaonic scarab egyptian silver cuff bracelet from the early 1960s. Stunning midcentury modernist design decorated with some sort of threedimensional niello . ( I once checked the egyptian hallmarks but can not really exactly remember which year, 1964 as latest.) Egyptian hallmarks. Due to the hallmarks the metal purity 2024 is 600/1000 sterling silver, a common silver purity in Egypt. This gives the bracelet a firm and harder quality, with an outstanding beautiful silver grey surface.
Length 18,5 cms/7,2" long (opening included.) The opening is somewhat, but not very, flexible, one cm or so. 3 cms/1,1" high.
