Goat hide has more durability than cowhide. It is suppler and softer because of the presence of lanolin in the leather. It is also more durable than cowhide because it is water resistant. Goat hide is warm, breathable, and is very comfortable to wear.

Each bag is individually made by experienced crafts people. The color of each bag might vary due to the low and high temperatures in the heart of the Thar desert in Rajasthan. The leather does not receive any chemical treatment but is applied with a special vegetable oil to improve tone and make it more water-resistant.
