Early 1900s Gillette Pocket Edition Double Edged Safety Razor, 501, New Style, Ball End, Thin Handle, with Hard Black Leather Case and 4 King Gillette Blue Blades, unopened. In great condition!

A gorgeous piece of shaving history. This gold plated Gillette Pocket Edition includes a black leather case, decorative sandwich style razor blade bank, and 4 unopened King 2024 Gillette Blue Blades. The case has a "lock" mechanism which keeps the lid in the open position when opened. This razor would make an excellent addition to your shave den, as a collector's item, or conversation piece.

Condition: The plating is mostly intact on the razor and blade bank, but the handle shows some thinning. The velvet lining in the case interior and leather exterior has some aging.
