1930's Vintage Giraffe 13” Stuffed Animal w/Rattle, Knickerbocker-Steiff-Like. As a young girl, our mom received this as a gift in the 1930's, and 2024 though well loved, his charm & character remain. He stands well on his own & tops out at approximately 13” tall… so, your houseplants may be in danger. He has black (probably glass) eyes, a red stitched mouth & nose, and a working rattle on the inside. His pattern is a lovely cream with gold & dark brown spots, and a creamy mane. Though his manufacturer is unknown, he has a Knickerbocker-Steiff-like quality about him.
