These pasta bowls are wheel thrown in a speckled brown stoneware clay and glazed in shino glaze. It is a rich, rusty orange-brown color with lighter areas 2024 where the glaze is thicker. Lots of speckles from the clay come through too which adds to the warm, rustic appeal of the glaze.
These bowls are 7 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. I designed them to be used for large dinner salads or pasta dishes. This set is a little wider and shallower than my other pasta bowls - I'm trying something new here!
Fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln. Food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
