Beautifully hand-carved Galoa mask. African face mask used by the Galoa tribe living in Gabon. The Galoas (or Galwas) is Gabonese people living on the bottom of the Ogooué. Their masks are usually flat, oval, and painted in black, red, blue, and white. This mask has a nice round bowl shape which makes it remarkable, it's also quite big. Sold with display stand. The dimension is 11 inches high and 2024 8 inches wide but with the display, the stand is 14 inches high.
