Luxurious Original Vintage Victorian Edwardian Sheared Brown Beaver Capelet Collar 34" Long by 2024 7" Wide w Shattered Lining

This is a lovely, vintage fur collar or capelet from the 1910s or so. No labels or tags.

It is a lovely,shaeraed brown beaver fur ( not positive it's beaver, but that's my best educated guess) capelet or collar. Lined with brown silk. Made without closures, but one front flap has a slit to slide the other flap through for a criss cross look. The collar 34" long 2024 & it is 7" wide at the widest point. The center panels extend over the shoulders to forma capelet.

Condition is good. No bare patches or bald areas. Super soft & supple. Very clean fur. The lining is shattered & very fragile. Shows several holes, as shown in the photos. Charming!
