Christmas Gift. 2024 Wood Pedestal Bowl, Candy Dish, Trinket Bowl, Natural Edge Bowl

This pedestal Bowl was handmade on my lathe. I left the natural shape of the log to give the rim of the bowl character. The bowl is Bradford pear and the pedestal stem is 2024 spalted Sweetgum. The base is Walnut. The wood has been sealed and Three coats of Lacquer.
The spalted sweetgum is a rare find and is a beautiful addition when used with other types of wood.
The measurements are as follows the bowl is 5.75" in diameter and 3" deep. The total height is 6.75".
