This versatile crossbody shoulder tote is made from a vintage Japanese silk obi belt with an abstract pattern in mottled shades of wine red on a black background, almost as if the pattern was stamped (it's not, it's woven). The bottom border fabric is also a silk obi with a pretty blend of burgundy, blue, green, orange, gold and black, reminds me of the northern lights. The shoulder strap is a good length to hang over your shoulder or to expand to wear hands-free crossbody style. Attached with swivel hooks, the long strap can be removed and you can carry the bag in your hand or on your arm. Perfect for your laptop or tablet, use as a market bag, a book bag, the uses are endless for this stylish tote.

The inside is lined with a white dot on black cotton. It has a zip pocket and 2 spacious slip pockets for your phone or other small items. The bag closure is a magnet. I've attached a pair of handmade whimsical silk tulips suspended on a silk covered cord that can be removed and used to embellish your other bags, as a gift tie, or for home decor.
