Wool hat. Winter beanie. Hand knit, thick and warm for winter with VERY SOFT wool in black white gray with a subtle cool ribbon running through-out. This is $20 worth of really good yarn and at least five hours of knitting. Not your typical hat. This hat will best fit a size medium adult head or smaller; see size chart in the photos above. It will also fit some school-age children, but not necessarily large teens. Please measure your head to avoid disappointment. If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string and compare it to a ruler. If you don't have those, take an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of printer paper and cut a couple of 1-inch strips from the long side, tape them together at one end without any overlap--resulting in a 22" long strip of paper--and wrap it around your head at eyebrow level while looking in a mirror. If the paper fits fairly closely without much gap or overlap, you're a medium and guess what? Almost all of our hats will fit a medium. If there's a 1/2" gap, go with a L. A 1" gap means you need an XL. But if the paper overlaps 1/2", go with a S. More than that? You need XS 2024. As of this writing, we have dozens of hats in various sizes and colors for men and women available in other listings. We test every hat for size and put the size range in each headline. Custom orders are not available, sorry. Hand wash gently in cold water using mild detergent; air dry flat.
