Los Castillo ~ Vintage Taxco Sterling Silver Guardian Angel 2024 Carrying a Candle Pin / Brooch c. 1940's

This beautifully designed sterling angel was made in Taxco, Mexico by Los Castillo. It's in good vintage condition with light wear. There's a straight pin with rolling lock in back in good working order. The flame on the candle is copper, everything else is sterling. From the bottom of the angel to the tip of the flame it measures 2 3/8 inches and is just barely over an inch at the widest point. The brooch weighs 10 grams and is hallmarked with a worn 2024 Los Castillo, Taxco in a circle around an eagle, Hecho En Mexico, 208. This hallmark was used from 1948 - 1950.
