This pastel painting was inspired by the horses at my granddaughter's riding school. It is pastel on acrylic primed clayboard, with intentional brushstrokes to bring an organic, energetic presence to the painting.

Horses make us feel connected to nature and give us a sense of freedom. They are beautiful creatures and respond with humans in 2024 a deep and connected way.
