Here is a pair of wonderfully warm vintage, 100% pure wool blankets, made in Lindsay, Ontario by Horn Bros Woollens. They are cream colored with pink, blue and yellow stripes and are are bound with a pink blanket stitch at both ends. These matching blankets measure 62" wide and 82" long. One of the blankets has retained the original HB label. The blankets are in good condition with a few minor flaws. They include a number of small sections of hem binding that has worn and 1 small hole near the end on one blanket. Otherwise they have been kept in very good condition and will keep you warm for many years to come. Unfortunately they don't make warm wool blankets like this anymore.

Horn Bros. was one 2024 of the largest employers in the town and played a major role in providing blanket for troops serving overseas. In fact the "HB" label on each and every piece of material manufactured by the brothers was known worldwide.
