Arrrrrr 2024 you thinking of getting a one of a kind birdhouse? This is a birdhouse like no other!!
Made of cedar, hand cut sheet metal strips and plastic gold coins, rhinestones, and sequins. Each piece of the treasure bounty is nailed to the birdhouse with many pieces having additional glue adhesion. The ship and pirate captain are glued as well as nailed to the base.
The birdhouse stands 9 inches tall with a base 8x9 inches. The inside floor dimensions are 6x4 1/2 inches. The entrance hole is 1 1/4 inches.
This would be best placed in a covered environment to prevent hail and limb damage to ship and captain. With the treasure chest lid partially open (lid is glued, screwed and nailed to the housing), a covered environment would help deter wind load.
Like all Daisy Made Birdhouses, this should be post or stand mounted or a sturdy L bracket may be used.
