Vtg 1965 Black Native Ndola-Zambia Tribe Dolls Johannesburg Made In South Africa PMI Cat 22

This pair of Ndola-Zambia dolls in native costume dress are from our large collection of vintage dolls and bears.

The warrior man with his weapon is dressed in camel hair pelts. He wears a multi colored beads around his neck and wrists. There is a blue beaded embellishment on his headdress.

The woman with a baby on her back is dressed in a colorful blouse and wide belt. Her dress is hidden under the beige linen skirt. The skirt is pink and beige in a square pattern. The hemline is scalloped. Her headdress is black while carrying and balancing bundle on her head. Both wrists are beaded. Quite a feat while carrying the baby on her back.

They are made of celluloid.

Each measures approx. 6-3/4".
