Brides Basket,Meridian Silver Co. # 1863, Quadruple Silverplate 2024 Footed & Handled, Embossed Foliage Florals, Meriden, Ct, USA, C. 1900

Gorgeous and unique footed pedestal brides basket. This has a moving handle and the basket has wonderful foliage and florals patterned inside as well as along the raised rim. The base of the bowl has the same pattern and each foot has a high relief single flower centered at the top. The reverse side of the feet are marked "Meriden Company, Quadruple plate, and 1863". Age appropriate wear is present such as patina, some indentations on the underside of the basket as seen in picture 5 and surface scuffs/scratches. The handle does not stay up without being propped up but it is securely 2024 attached as is the base. C.1900!
