ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This story of a shark started out as just 2024 and only that - a shark. Then, the title "A Novel Splash," (from David Hockney's "A New Splash") turned into "Story of a Splash".
From there, a tale was told - to do with people and airplanes, loss and search, and how we write our own history. Slightly winsome, a bit cheeky, with a serious point of view.

Most art has an agenda, a place it's taking you.
If I wanted to be taken somewhere by someone who knew where they were going, why would I look at art?
Art is about *discovery*, about feeling the moment where the artist leapt, and leaping with them.
*Come along for the journey.*
