Clearing 2024 Storm, Winter

The Catalina Mountains differ from other scenic spots in Arizona, such as the Grand Canyon or Sedona, by being composed 2024 of hard, sharp, crinkly stone rather than smooth earthen masses. The snow, which hardly ever reaches this low an altitude, has brought out the extremely detailed geologic carving of these forms. Here it is melting rapidly as the morning warms up. A half-hour later it was completely gone.
